Women need own anti-violence ribbon

It is time for women to now find their own colour ribbon to fight female-on-male domestic violence, says Counsellor, Outcomes Researcher, and former Women’s Refuge Supervisor.

“Given the large pool of evidence that now exists illustrating that the majority of all domestic violence acts are committed by men and women on a 50 / 50 ratio, and in light of the leadership shown by men to say “No” to domestic violence against women via the “White Ribbon” campaign since 1991, it is now time for women to find their own colour ribbon to proudly wear and to publically say “No” to women’s domestic violence against men” says Steve Taylor, Director of 24-7 Ltd, Outcomes Researcher, and a former Women’s Refuge on-site Supervisor.
